VoyageMap.com allows you to post as well as view travel footprints from around the world. You can pan or zoom in/out to
see where other travellers have been to as well as leave your own footprint. This allows visual representation of travels plotted on a map.
Travellers especially youngster can see/learn where they have travelled and leave their mark on map.
It is very easy to leave your own footprint
- Pan/zoom to the location you would like to leave footprint for [no need to register / signin] and right click
- The nearest 3 cities of 1000 or more residents will be displayed in dropdown
- Fill in your details of travel, making sure that email is valid as you will be required to verify the post to stop spamming
- Once you receive email please click on link or paste into browser to confirm that you posted the footprint. [please read our privacy policy]
- This is a family site so our team will review your footprint prior to making it live, any inappropiate postings will be deleted
- Thats it your footprint is live, currently the site will show the latest footprint posted, in the future we will add search options to find older postings or other filters
It is very easy to view other travellers or your own footprints, simply use mouse or keyboard cursor keys to zoom in/out or pan to find footprints across the map.
Footprints are shown from a scale of 80 miles and below. If there are more than one footprint for any given location up to 6 other footprints are placed in a circle around the latest one.
